Boozy Berries and Cream Biscuit Donuts

These simple fried Pillsbury™ biscuit donuts are the base of this decadent yet approachable dessert, topped with spiked berries, whipped topping and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for good measure.

Strawberries, fresh, sliced

Donuts
  1. Thaw biscuit dough covered, either at room temp. 45-60 minutes until fully thawed or refrigerate overnight.
  2. Poke hole in center of each biscuit with finger and stretch dough to create a 1-inch hole.
  3. Drop dough, in batches, into fryer basket in oil preheated to 350°F.
  4. Cover with second fryer basket to keep dough submerged and cook 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove from oil, drain and allow to cool.
Boozy Berries
  1. Add strawberries, blackberries, liqueur and sugar in a mixing bowl; stir gently to combine.
  2. Allow to sit for 30 minutes to allow juices to form; cover and refrigerate for Assembly if desired.
Assembly
  1. Place 1 cooled Donut on serving plate; top with 1.5 oz (approx. 1/4 cup) Boozy Berries.
  2. Add 1 oz (approx. 1/3 cup) whipped topping and drizzle with 1 Tbsp (0.5 oz) chocolate sauce; serve immediately.

  • Dust donut with powdered sugar prior to topping if desired. Note nutrition information may change.
